Is there anyway that the sounds of guns in CFS3 be more like the sound used in CFS2? CFS3 gun sounds like "pop" guns as opposed to the CFS2 or CFS1 sounds. Or has anyone noticed the difference?

You can easily swap sounds from cfs2 to cfs3 ; you just have to look at the sounds.xml to see what files are called for gun sounds and then replace them with (renamed) files from cfs2.

But why the hassle, it's already been done :

fox's supper effects package (you need the 7 parts) does it (very well) for you.
