I'm having trouble with an effect...

I need a thick smoke trail...but only about 75' long. I also need to activate it with alighting effect.

Any thoughts?

Hi Steve. Think I can help you with this one - light-activating switch also.

How fast will the plane be going when you want to activate the effect? The length of the effect will depend on how fast you're going at the time. Also, what colour smoke - white, grey, black, variable? Does it need to move backwards (upwards, downwards etc.) at any specific rate when it's generated?

Wink

An image of what I am trying to accomplish:

The smoke needs to be white with a slight blue tint. No horizontal motion required...a slight cooling (dropping) would be nice.

I would like the 75' length to be constant...not affected by speed. That's the real hard part... I just couldn't get anywhere with my attempts to do that.

The effect will be triggered by a "afterburner" switch which also turns on a lighting effect (logo lights). My lights work fine...I just can't get any smoke to cooperate. Smiley

Thanks for any assistance microlight.

Hi Steve - sorry for the delay. I have the first version of the effect ready. If you IM me with your email address, I'll send it to you.
