It's a replica of K5054 the Spitfire prototype. Note those late model link type undercarriage legs, I reckon Ozzy could use those on "Binky." Wink

Should point out that it's a static model. I think it's made from glass fibre. The Mk I Spitfires used in the early days of the BoB had similar two-bladed props although I believe they were variable-pitch.

It's actually the Clive Du Cros made (formerly) flying replica. It's made of wood primarily, and was powered by a Jaguar V12. After a couple of mishaps, I think they decided that it was better on the ground, and it is now owned by Solent Sky, and used as a travelling exhibit...

Somebody should make one for FS Grin

the Mk XIVe and T.IX IAC161 also visited Antwerp. My friend saw them performing a dog fight!

the shots look nice! probably I'm going to visit their show in July.
