FSd has a deal for this weekend:

For $25 you get the Piaggio Avanti and C-17 Globemaster/T38 Talon.

'Twas in a bit of doggerel, a temptation not to be resisted!

Starting off from Chicago O'Hare

...

...

...

...

Landing at Meigs (now fictional thanks to the bastards on Chicago city council...wanna bet me that high-priced condos are going to go there?!)

...

...

No regrets!

Good lookin' screenshots  Grin

The Piaggio looks interesting, but the other two in the package would just be using up good hard drive space as far as I am concerned.... Shocked

Actually, the Talon VC has been re-worked from the freeware 2002 version: think the re-worked Bell Jetranger compared to the default!

Actually the C-17 is decent. The VC is good for the "budget" sense as payware goes, (it uses the default 747 panel for 2D) and the updated Talon is quite an improvement over the 2002 model.

The C17 and Talon for $12 is worth it if you want a USAF transport for hauling.

Great shots of the Avanti Cheesy

Just flew it for a short flight...my opinion?

I probably wouldn't have been interested in it by itself...but the package with the Avanti made for a great deal!  The C-17 probably isn't going to knock anyone's socks off (where the VC is concerned), but it's certainly not a bad work...and there's a reason that the package is $12 and comes with the T38 Talon.  Looks aside, it does fly great!

I've been impressed with FSD's work and this time is no exception...no regrets! Grin
