Here are a few screenshots of my latest project, namely adding most of the major scenery in the Edmonton area (iItems that would be readily visible while airborne).  Still have lots left to do, including better landscaping of the river valley, adding refineries and some more buildings to the west of downtown and south of the river.  So far it isn't too bad of a framerate hog but we'll see how that goes, once more has been added.
