I've been putting off downloading the Columbia River Gorge scenery for quite some time now. After downloading it this morning and trying it out, I'm kicking myself. This is the best freeware scenery I've seen yet!
So I took up my Custon Classics Travel Air to see the sights. Enjoy the shots!

Toldya! There's tons of add-ons for it over at Hovercontrol as well!
Make sure you get the update and set the Vertex level at 20!

It's in the fs9.cfg (
C:\Documents and Settings\Virtual Aviator\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\FS9.cfg
Scroll down to the [TERRAIN] section and look for this line:
TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19
19 is the default (and some of my scenery needs it there)
To cut down on the PITA factor, I have two copies: one set at 19 and one set at 20...I put the appropriate one into the directory depending on where I fly...
