This are some shots of me air-to-air refuelling with an AI Tanker I downloaded. Great fun. Oh yeah I used the aerialfoundry F-18 because of its nice refuelling probe.

Behind the tanker.

Hope you like them.  Smiley

Quote:
The tankers fly at 250kts, FL260. Try to intercept one in a point indicated below. Approach the tanker and touch the fuel pipe by the refueling mast. Then press the refuel switch. The refueling process is so short and unreal because it's actually impossible to make interact an AI aircraft with the user one in FS9. But to touch the fuel pipe is already a tough task. Try to stay as long as possible touching the pipe - this way you simulate a real-time refueling.

But its great fun none the less!  Wink

Does the last one not count!?  Wink LOL I'll try some after but I assure you its far from easy. Why don't you try it yourself? Its the AI Tanker from Samdim design. COmes with their TU-126 AWACS package.  Smiley

The hard part is the rendez-vous with the tanker. Its pretty hard to find. I found it on tuesday at Semipattilinks (or something like that) doing a touch and go, and then I followed it up.  Wink

Neat!

You know, it makes it a whole lot easier to get the probe in the basket if you use altitude hold and IAS hold... That's what I do Grin

&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!
