Well, here we were, Wendy and I sitting at home when we heard a different noise on the Airpark entry.......grab the camera, into the car and down to the field......quick !

Look at these here and see why it sounded a tad strange.......I'm willing to bet that not too many folks here on the "V" have seen one of these in the flesh, much less fly in and out.....

........my apologies for the image size, but on this occasion, I really thought they deserved to be seen large........Presenting the K-Max  8)

It is a Kaman, ....a K1200 K-Max......used extensively around the world for logging and fire-fighting.....very heavy lift capability..... 8)
