I have Wop and it is AWESOME!!!!!
If you want 8 great planes for a good price, thats the way to go. But if you want photoreal textures and VERY detailed VCs, go MAAM.

(I would get Wop

I only have WoP, but I must say it's pretty awsome! Most people seem to like the B-17 best, but I like the B-29, flies very nice! Smiley

Talk with Jeff (Stormtropper), he has them both! Smiley

Detail - MAAM (you get one plane)

Value for $ - WoP (you get 8 planes and each is done quite well)

Quite well Stephen? Bloomin' superb. The Lanc is the best I've ever seen!!! And the B-17s are gorgeous, and the B-29 has caused me loads of trouble in go-arounds or running off the end of the runway Embarrassed Grin

I have them both. WOP is definatly the value leader for warbirds.  They are realistic enough and you get a bunch.  I can't attest to exactly HOW realistic they are though having never been around any of the real ones.  The MAAM B-25 though would have to be the realism leader.  I've been out to MAAM at KRDG and have seen THE "Briefing Time" inside and out.  I've heard her and seen her fly.  Although I haven't flown her I can honestly say that with the real plane right at hand, why wouldnt the flight model be correct?  It would have to be, going on the basis of what they put into appearence and flight deck functionality, why would they put less into the flight model? If you want indesputable real-as-it-gets, go with MAAM.  Better yet, save your cash and go with both. Nine great warbirds for under $55 USD.  Uncle Sam would have loved to get all the real planes they represent for that price  Wink

My recommendation?

MAAM Briefing Time (as it is superb), the WoP B-17 and why not look at the Dave Garwood freeware Lancaster, every bit as good as the WoP version and significantly cheaper  8)
