Hahah, I've been tempted to - there's a few real nice sets at the music store - but I can throw all that together for a fraction of the cost, leaving me money for other much needed gear.

I likes the Roland... Grin Grin

I got the roland TD-6 or something. the snare is V-drum, rest is rubber.

Makes good noises for a scary movie, try it out. I really wanted the $4100 full v-drum set, but i dont got 4 grand lying around. and if i did, first priority is the girlfriend, then the car, then the drums, lol Wink

Aye. I've played one at the local music store. Quite nice. My dad had to pry the sticks out of my hands so we could leave.. Cheesy

If you wanna buy high quality cheap drums.
HB are the drums for you.

A regular 12 piece set would cost around the same a standard tama would cost you. Shocked

What kind of wood are they made from? My Tama is mahogony so that's prolly why it cost so much. She (yes, it's a she) has a nice warm tone to her.
