Hello everyone,

I am hoping someone would help me edit a panel.cfg. I have the Maule m-7-260, and I am wondering and hoping it would be permissible to change the following gauges and instruments:

gauge00=NAVCOM1_Apollo_SL30!NAVCOM1_Apollo_SL30,  0,83,399
gauge01=AUD_Apollo_SL15!AUD_Apollo_SL15,  0,0,399
gauge02=COM2_Apollo_SL40!COM2_Apollo_SL40,  0,166,399
gauge03=GPS_Apollo_GX50!GPS_Apollo_GX50,  0,248,399
gauge04=XPDR_Apollo_SL70_eu!XPDR_Apollo_SL70_eu,  0,375,399

to these gauges and instruments (from the Beech Baron 58)...

gauge00=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Audio, 0, 0
gauge01=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 1, 0, 29
gauge02=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 2, 0, 86
gauge03=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio ADF, 0, 142
gauge04=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio DME, 0, 180
gauge05=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Xpndr, 0, 217
gauge06=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio AP, 0, 262
(adding the auto-pilot)

I have been trying to use CFGEdit, but I am not able to get the new gauges to show up in the airplane. Sad

Would it be possible to send someone the Maule's CFG and hopefully that person could edit the Cfg, adding the Bendix-king gauges? I would be very grateful.

Thanks,
  John

Hello _526th_Fireman,

Thank you for your offer to take a look.  Smiley

The Maule aircraft has two panels. One for the amphibian model and one for the tail wheel model. In the email, I zipped and sent both.

I very much appreciate your help, and if you can't get to the two panels, or even one, I would understand,  and again,  I thank you for trying and appreciate your time and your effort to have taken a look.

Thanks again,
John

Hello  _526th_Fireman,

I just downloaded the panels, and from the screen shot the radio shack looks great! Thanks a million. I have to go to work soon, so I don't have time to run Flt Sim now, but I sure will later this evening. The size of the radio shack looks great. And you got it done a day or two earlier  Smiley

Thanks again. You are a great help. Take care,
John

PS: I just want everyone to know, you also helped me a while back on trim sensitivity!

LOL, glad it is what you wanted.

That is one fine acft. that Maule. All the variations. Took me longer to figure out how to install that thing correctly than it did to fix up your panel as requested!!  Grin

What I don't like is that first panel screen. I am going to toy with it tom. when I get home and remove it.

I saw that there is an update when I downloaded the acft. Guess I will have to get that too and see what it is about.

I left the origanal Radio Stack in there to see what that thing is all about. Sure is nice looking and looks like it has some interesting functions.

Not being a REAL pilot, all that stuff looks Greek to me and I start at ground zero with instruments like that. But they sure look great.

Later and good luck flying. Let me know if you ever need anything else. Won't say I can do it or will have an answer, but more than likely can get you steered in the right direction.
