I posted this in hardware and Century of Flight, but got no answer, trying again here.
My question is; does anyone know how I can configure FS9 to save the windows that I have unlocked and dragged to my second screen? Is it possibe to configure each aircraft for a different set of unlocked windows, or a generic setup for all.
As much fun as the duel monitor seup is, configuring it before every flight is a little annoying, also redragging after a "ground incident" or flight reset.

Thanks

Matt

Set up your aircraft so it is where and as you want it when you restart your sim.

You can shut the aircraft and engens all down if you want. So you have to restart it.

Now

Starting in full screen mode.
Hit  ALT + Enter

Now you are in windowed mode.
All panels where you want them!

Select  Flights

Select Save Flight

Give your flight a name like KORD-777
What ever airport and aircraft.

Just save your flight. And your set.

Your screen setup is saved.

When you Restart or Reset the Flight all you do is hit ALT + Enter
for full screen mode.

If you like you can make it your defalt flight.
Or use select flight when you start your sim.
Hope this helps
Ron

You can do this with any or all aircraft in your sim.
Any panel in any aircraft you like.

To take it a step further: You probably dont fly from the same place all the time, so you would still have to start your saved game to get your windows where you want, then select a different airport or flight plan.

Note: I dont fly with dual monitors, but I see no reason why that wouldnt work.
