With ya Ramsa! I just picked it up for myself! Couple of questions though...
1. Is it posible to hover with it (can the real one do that?)
2. Is there an update to make the VC gauges work? Don't get me wrong, it's okay if they don't, but it would be really cool if they did...
I also picked up the Cessna Bobcat...too bad they don't make a way to manually start up (with
out
ctrl+e), but I can live with that!

Great shots! I love the last one...but what's with the shadows? like they are comin off of nothing...
As i can see a patch of darkness on the top of the a/c..
All i did was retexture that part of the a/c...

You re-textured the ac?
You re-textured the ac and this affected the ground shadows? You've lost me on that one.

As far as I know there is no alternative VC but I might be wrong.
It is possible to hover but it takes a very steady hand LOL and a lot of throttle control.
As to the detail of startup etc............ I think that this is part of why Alphasim can keep their prices down and still deliver a beautiful product.
However I have noticed that lately they have been producing cockpits in greater and greater detail.
Possibly they will release an updated VC soon.

Ok I looked on the spine of the AC and............................ I see nothing
To tell you the truth Andrew the original comment was about ground scenery shadows and now we are talking about the AC which has nothing to do with ground scenery shadows AT ALL
If you have an improved set of textures I am more than sure that Alphasim would be happy to receive them so that we could all benefit.
These shots were taken at a time of day when the shadows are very deep with Active Sky giving me the weather (5 layers).
These elements would increase the shadows on both the ac and the ground which was exactly what I wanted.

Good enough! Thanks Ramsa and I like Alphasim's product very much!
I just like to be sure I didn't do something wrong in the installation...

sorry...one more question...
Is it possible to do a full vertical takeoff in this (not a dealbreaker if no...)

No you can't despite what people here have been saying, FS can't handle directional thrust. You can do a near vertical takeoff (moving at about 4 or 5 knots) but it is unstable and not really hovering.
It is still an awesome model though, I would highly recomend it.
