Can you believe that even at a small airport like Republic in Farmingdale, that a New York State Trooper pulled up to my car while I was shooting those Bus jets through a fence. He asked me what I was doing and wanted to see some ID. I told him I was "Plane spotting". He had no idea what it was. I describes it to him and when giving him my license, I also gave him my AOPA Member card. He said OK and let me go.

It is good that security is always tight but I tell you, in the past I could actually go through the gate at the fence and go right up to the aircrafts.

Hey Mark, those first 3 were taken with the 300mm lens  Wink

Well if that's not reason enough for an AOPA membership, I don't know what is.  I may have to do that.  I'm always paranoid when I'm out "shooting".  Great shots Dave!
