The latest Fox Four campaign is finally ready to go. Wink Come & get it here. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2korea.htm
I've sent Pete the details & it should be featured on the main site soon.

You will be flying with the Royal Navy from HMS Ocean in a Hawker Sea Fury. Here's a few shots.

...

If anything is not clear or you have any problems, please mail one of the team from the Contacts page on the site, not here on the forum. It's all been carefully tested but we could have missed something so feedback is appreciated. Many thanks to our beta testers, including HawkerTempest, Ozzy & WillF from SimV. We hope you enjoy it. Really superb  Smiley

The Sea Fury is really brilliant.

Nice touch to, to add the Meteor and Skyraider AI aircraft.

Congratulations to all who contributed to it.  Smiley

Having had the privilege of being one of the beta-testers I have to say this is without a doubt the best CFS2 campaign I've ever flown! And I've done a few.
So go download it now and get blasting over Korea Wink

I just downloaded it. It's a great plane to fly.

Hi Poppa_J. I can't answer this right now as we will need to investigate. If you mail me or one of the team from the Contact page on the Fox Four website maybe we can figure it out.  Attach your Error.log if possible. Might be best to zip it up first.

You will get much quicker results by e-mail as we can't possibly check all the forums.

If I may be so bold to say: "Are you kidding??" That Sea Fury is nothing short of spectacular! The attention to detail on the ships is matched only by the intensity of the missions within the campaign itself. If anyone can get white knuckles on a joystick from a flight sim add on, this is it!! Bar none. (But that's just my opinion). Grin

cheers~

Hey Hagar,
It's another winner for FOX FOUR, i had to get a fresh instal of CFS2 to get it in tho' the C3 kept stumbling on the auto instal, new CFS2 & no problems, flying it on 'easy' at the moment (until i find Tom's suprises!! trucks on the runway threw me on the HUNTERS !!!)

Thanks for the kind words chaps. We've had very few reported bugs so far so please let us know if you're having problems. We can usually sort them out pretty quickly.

Hi Happ. Not sure why you had this problem. The only time we had a minor hiccup during testing was when the self-extractor was trying to overwrite Read-only files. We tracked this one down to a beta version of one of our aircraft being already installed to our tester's CFS2. I don't know what it might be in your case but I'm glad you fixed it. Wink

So when will there be a package where when you fire a missle, it'll actually be a "Fox Four!", as in Fox Three is a Sidewinder, Fox Two is a Maverick, etc etc.. Roll Eyes

Great work, Doug. I'm itching to give her a run. Wink

Just completed the Ocean Fury campaign, and I would like to congratulate all those who participated in its development. It is one beautiful piece of work!! Just when I think CFS2 is getting a bit stagnant, along comes a group of folks who literally re-invent the game.

While I'm at it, thanks to everyone involved in developing new add-ons. Unlike some M$ software, I am truly getting a good return on my investment in CFS2.

I am new here and sorry for this stupid question.  I have downloaded the KW_C3.zip, KW_C3A.zip, KW_P3.zip and pack1 and 2 as mentioned in the download site.  I have installed pack 1 and 2 first, then C3, C3A and P3.  How can I fly this campaign?  When I go to Campaign, I only have the built-in campaign of CFS2 (Midway).  I don't seem to see Ocean Fury campaign.  Or I have missed something?

Lawin. Ocean Fury is a British campaign. Try selecting British from the nationality menu. If this is your first Fox Four campaign don't forget to activate the Korea scenery via the Scenery Library.

If you have any problems please mail me or one of the crew from the Contacts page on the Fox Four site.

Hagar, you're the man.  Thanks a lot again.  I will try that tonight.  Yes, this is the first time I am installing a campaign in my CFS2.  I just got my CFS2 copy few months ago.

FOX-FOUR is your last-ditch missile when you're all out of fox-one, two and three. It's what you call when you smack into the back of the enemy aircraft with the nose of yours.
It's something I did a lot when chasing MIGs with the Sabre until I remembered where the airbrake button was. Then I found the rest of the team did it too, so for a humorous sobriquet, we called ourselves Fox-Four. You'll note on our website that the animated logo features four dart-like aircraft hurtling towards each other around the words FOX-FOUR and meeting in the middle. That's us.  8)
