It's a 1969 GTO Coupe with a Ram Air III engine, 3 speed automatic, 8-Track, and almost every option you can get except for the Judge option.

Looks like a cool project. Are you rebuilding it stock or are you doing some performance modifications to it. If so, what kind of modifications are you doing-specifically to the engine (I assume its a 400).

There is little rust in the usual places, and we are keeping it totaly stock. Original engine and drivetrain.

Since your keeping it stock, what are some of the options on the car. For example, is it a what are the rear end gears (limit-slip rear?)? also are there any special features (for example, deluxe interior-if GTOs had a deluxe interior option).
I'm just curious about the options on the car. I know that back then the cars generally had more options than cars today (like the Camaro's were pretty crazy about options).
Also, what are the colors-interior and exterior.

I'm not aware of what options were avilable on '69 GTOs specifically (I know what are on '69 Camaro's but there is probably some differences). From looking at the pitcures that you have, I can tell it is an A/C, P/S and power brakes car.
I am curious about some of the specific options-for example, I would imagine that since you said it has most every option-I assume it has disc brakes (probably just front disc brakes-I would imagine that 4 wheel is very rare, the "JL8" 4 wheel disc brake option on '69 Camaro's is quite desirable since only about 200 were made). But, does it have the rarer and lesser known options such as a fold down rear seat which is quite desirable on GM cars (or did the GTO's not have that option). I am also curious about the rear end, what gears does it have (if you know) and is it limited slip (positraction)? What are rare/notible options does it have? Also, are the '69 GTO's a frame car or are they unibody? I know that the earlier models were frame cars (and I assume that these were too) but I'm not sure-do you know?
I hope that I'm not being annoying about this-I'm just curious. One car enthuasist to another.

Nice car..
I've inherited my grandfathers 63 Comet (Project car)
Only thing that keeps it from being more desirable is the 4-door....
anmd of course the automatic transmission IMHO....

Wow, you even have the build sheet-thats pretty impressive. It looks like it has some rare options too, especially the power windows (I don't know how rare those are on the '69 GTO but I assume they are about the same rarity as the '69 Camaro power windows which only about 1% of the cars had).
Here's a question, it says it has a Turbo Hydromatic transmission (3-speed auto), do you know if its the T/H350 or T/H400 transmission? I'd be interested to know which Pontaic generally used behind the 400ci V8.

So, the put the bigger trans behind the 400. I think the power windows are rare on any American car from the 1960s. Thats a really nice project!
