Mines a close tie with the Spit, Hurricane and Gladiator, althought I love some of the big radial fighters too (even if most of them were naval aeroplanes)....

I'm a convert to the Alpha Jet too... Grin

Not an easy choice but I would have to go with the Tiger Moth & Hawker Hunter.

I'm going with the Boeings, anything other than the 737-100/200 series I'm good with, I like Airbus, but feel almost all there aicraft other than the A310, and A300 are FBW, which limits variety of there cockpits...as far as the others, Concorde was just one an aircraft to me, never caught on so can't say I realy like it, and military, not really into those for some reason, and yuor older aircraft i don't really recognize except for a ouple of them, which I don't really have a taste for

I think it would be easier to list what planes I do not like, than listing the ones I do.

The one plane that i think does look stupid is the "F/B-22"  Looks rediculous in my opinion.

Oh, and if you wanna see one dead sexy Super Hornet?  Check out this pic of VFA-102's (Diamondbacks) new "showbird" paint scheme.  unfortunately, it's the only pic of this bird so far.  And man, is it awesome!

Ah, interesting topic. I personally love Spitfire's. I have RealAir's Spitfire package, which is just plain awesome. Airbus as well is good for me. And just on a side note, I like McDonnel Douglas MD-11's.

Cheers,
Ashar Smiley

Well I can really admit I never flew an aircraft I never liked or felt uncomfortable in.  I guess my favorites would be:
(1) DHC-3 "Otter" R1340 radial engine
     on amphibious floats or wheel/skis
Probably the best bush aircraft ever built and now
     re-engined with a turbine
(2)  DHC-1 "Chipmunk"
      Great trainer and aerobatic aircraft
(3)  Tiger Moth
Great bi-plane and of course in my books there are
       no bad bi-planes
(4)  Canso
You got paid more to fly it than the DC3
Both were a lot of work to load and unload
(5)  T33 "T Bird"
Good trainer and a lot of fun to fly

Off the top of my head that is what I would consider the top 5 for me I THINK Smiley, but maybe that is because I can't afford to own anything more than a C172 unless I trade in the wife GrinLOL
Now that is a thought...OUCH Shocked
Didn't know she was in the room.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

For Fozzer....aka...Captain Sensible....
...it has to be a second-hand Cessna 152.

A practical aeroplane, reasonably cheap to run and maintain.
...and pretty reliable... 8)...!
No strange quirks to catch out the un-wary...!

A useful 2-seater for a spot of leisurely touring... Grin...!

An excellent step-up from a Microlight....costing around the same... Wink...!
