It would be nice to have my old film camera and my long(400mm zoom) for these kind of shots, but my poor tired little 2 MP digital is going to have to do .......I shot this out the front door of work yesterday (Wed)......Yes indeed, the Snowbirds are back for their twice a day practice sessions over the skies of Comox/Courtenay and the Comox Valley........with almost three weeks of them here, I anticipate getting up to the end of the runway to see about shooting them out of the sky......
They are turning a 180 here to go downwind, right to left, before making their landing break......
