Well I have been away since last Thursday, April 7th. My wife and I caught a 7:00am flight on one of Jetblue's new A320's from JFK. We flew to San Juan Puerto Rico and stayed at the El Conquistador for 4 days. We got in at 1 am last night. My two little girls stayed with my in-laws so we really got to have some time to ourselves!
Here are some shots from our little getaway.
Pushback...
Leaving JFK, NY!
Level at 36,000ft.
Turning to land at San Juan.
Reverse thrust and spoilers deployed!
Thanks Guys!!
More to follow
!!
Dave

Hey Gunny. I have got a shot of every flight deck on every plane I have ever flown. All I do is ask. Even after 9-11, the pilot always seems happy to let me. Most of the pilots of the aircraft I have flown on usually say goodbye to the passengers as they are exiting while the co-pilot goes through the shut down procedures. I will say to the Pilot, "Hey, thanks for a real smooth flight. Do you mind if I get a shot of the Flight Deck?" I once had a TWA pilot say, "why don't you hop up there in the captain's seat and I will take a picture". So I did. Unfortunately that was with a 35mm over 9 years ago and is tucked away someplace in a box in my attic.
