I took my r/c plane out at the model airplane field with my g/f today. We got there at 10 am and left at 5. It was a lot of fun. I saw jets, props, and heli's. I also saw a crash today for the first time. The guy lost it in a nose dive and couldn't recover it. It was a pretty nice plane too. It must of been a .60 scale size. He crashed it a couple yards away from us, but you could feel the ground shake on impact followed by a loud boooom!

Here's some pics of me getting it ready,

Here's a video of my airplane after landing.  Upon landing, I lost the nose gear wheel.  One of the guys at the field helped me out and capped it back on.  It was pretty funny,

Sweet!
I'm just getting into the hobby. I have the Avistar 40 trainer. I can't wait to get out onto the field! Smiley

Fun stuff!  I had a problem with the landing gear in my plane a while back too... it's a low wing, and I noticed after a few passes... my nose wheel was turned almost 90 degrees to the side!! lol  I was kinda scared to land the plane like that, but luckily the UltraSport flys really slow, AND we have a paved runway... so all it did was shorten the landing roll to like 3 feet once the nose wheel finally touched down. lol

Another time I scuffed up my right wingtip because, when I built the plane, somehow I completely missed the reinforcement block when inserting the wire landing gear... so on one hard landing the main wheel just rotated in place... simple fix, but felt pretty dumb.

Anyway, looks fun!

The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&www.fight2flyphoto.com&&&&Canon RebelXT&&Canon 18-55mm&&Sigma 10-20mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 100-300mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 50-500mm F/4-6.3
