If it says download for FS2002, then it probably will be for FS2002 Angry

You didn't say where you got this file from & this is not always the case. José made a valid point & there's no need to get shirty. I did a site search for a380-800 & only came up with FS9 versions. If you're a little more specific someone might be able to help.

If it's definitely for FS2002 it might depend on your system. People have reported similar problems before with aircraft that worked perfectly on my own system. If I haven't experienced the problem myself it's difficult to suggest anything. I don't want to hazard a guess in case it upsets you. Wink

What else can we do?  If, as Hagar and Saitek suggested, he just gave us a link to the download someone would have downloaded it by now and figured out his problem.  Wierd thing is it's probably just the usual gaugesound.dll or similar problem that we have encountered numerous times and could fix in a heartbeat.

Some people would just rather complain ...

Go to the folder in Windows Explorer that contains the Airbus.
Check the Readme and post the name of the creator.  Someone will be able to search Flightsim. com and other sites and download and check out the problem aircraft.

Oh yeah,
For some reason I can't download any add-ons anymore.  CryIt doesn't work or it just says page cannot be displayed.
I have checked the help site, but I don't have any of the mentioned problems.

kevinn5,

I found the aircraft at fsdome.com.

It should appear in your aircraft folder as "A 380 Garuda Indonesia MX 2."

From the download I put the above file in my aircraft folder.

It came up in the FS2002  "Select Aircraft " menu as Airbus - A 380 - Garuda Indonesia.

It launched perfectly at the runway.

I notice the Readme says "Unzip the CONCORDE.GAU in your FS2002 GAUGES folder" I didn't find any gauge zip in the download, but without the gauge you'd just have a black hole on your panel.

Couldn't get it to misbehave - sorry.

I also downloaded a 7-day trial version of the abacus.com premier collection concorde, but it didn't show up in the aircraft menu at all...

As I indicated previously I don't know what the "Concorde.Gau" has to do with anything.

Why don't you try putting a different panel in the a380,  like maybe the 737-400, and see what happens. First be sure to back-up your present panel.
