It was whilst I was in the Auto land thread that I dreamed this up........ A First Officer Landing switch.

This is a link to the AI aircraft pattern of any Airport, enableing the airplane you are flying to tune or become an AI controled aircraft. Thus handing the Aircraft over to a virtual First Officer to land her on the runway.

This would be a bonus for first timers to an airport to get the feel of the approach to the airport, just like what second officers get as they monitor the procedures.

It would need an extra switch place in the flight deck, maybe on the overhead pannel, but would be a hoot to see in operation from any angle you choose to view.

What do you all think ? Can some one Build this?
