Actually Rob we have the biggest Tesco in Hungary right here in Pécs, it was opened by the British ambassador a few years back, you could fit a squadron of 747s in it!!!
Personally I don't use it however after some "issues".
But it does have a pair of giant fish tanks full of live fish and you point out the one you want for dinner and the yank it out and put it in a bag for you! Talk about fresh 8)

Lol, I like fish so I should come over there one day and finish the fresh stock.
Tesco's here are taking over everywhere. I won't be surprised if a new range of cards are brought out.
No joke, they actually have their own MOBILE NETWORK (called Tesco Mobiles)
They are very good value, however.... but I NEVER milk from there. They always turn sour at least two days before they indicate. So, for milk, Sainsbury's is the place for me. 8)
BTW, just to let you know, I bet in your childhood that Hammersmith was a nice, tidy, calm and serene place. Well, now it's a bursting borough of London, and, along with Chelsea, one of the richest also. But I like it here in Hackney! (Well, on the border of Islington and Hackney, anyway...

I was only born in Hammersmith, then lived in Harrow for a year, then to Camberley for the next 3 and then we headed off to New York, followed by Toronto, San Diego, Geelong (Aus), Santa Barbera, Geelong (again), and back to England eventually where we settled in Buckinghamshire

They have just released their pre-tax profits of over £2billion, ($3.6billion). Not bad for a country the size of Britain. I have actually applied for a part-time job there.
