Well yesterday the IRL had their first Road race. I must admit it was quite impressive what they did round that course. Makes monaco look as wide as a normal course in places. Was a little dissapointed in Kannan i feel he deliberatly tried taking out racers at various stages with his pointless passing attempts. Good drive by Franchitti again a couple of questionable decisions on passing, but he had the 1st corner down perfectly. Dan Wheldon, good drive from him with a bit of luck mixed in. You could tell those who have had race track experience just by their final pit stop timing.

Very cool to see cars back on the St Pete circuit. I lovve that track!

Castroneves would have won that race if that poor excuse for a race driver(AJ Foyt IV) would have just stopped racing after he DQ'ed out of the Indy 500 2 years ago for not going minimum speed(180mph?).  Helio has more road course wins and more experience than anyone in that whole series.

It does seem like Andretti Green racing has been taking advantage of having a 4 car team to control the race order by means that are less than admirable.
