WOW!  Have you guys checked out the Bacolod (Phillipines) animated scenery at AVSIM?

I saw the demo video pre-release, and I was impressed.  Now that it's been released, I've installed it.

Words can't express the size of the step this is in flight simulation.  Mother of all things holy.  This is BEAUTIFUL.

GET IT!

Oh I'm sure that if there were a scenery discussion forum, I'd definitely put it there.  But, there isn't.   So it's here.  If it gets moved, so be it.

Sadly, even screenies don't do it justice, since the amazing thing about the scenery is the animation aspect of it...revolutionary, IMO.

So can you now understand why some of us actually WANT to spend MONEY on FS addons?

The quality is often better  Smiley

Hi, Downloaded this scenery and I rate it a #1. I think upon all the dollars I have spent on fsaddons that turned about to be junk and they charged for them. This gentlemen should be applauded for creating and giving such a beautiful scenery. Thank you, jakob

Let's just hope two things...A) that they keep releasing other areas, and B) that they don't see the light that so many of the other formerly freeware designers saw and start charging...

.mm....quite interesting.....some aspects seem a little "off"...the people keep disappearing and reappearing....but on the whole it's cool........

Here's where I find myself when selecting runway 4...is this an old runway or what? It seems to run at an angle into the new runway and has some sort of message boards on it........or is this NOT how it should look?....commoner Undecided

i don't think that it should look like that

it appears that the new scenery is overlapping the old one...

there is a way to remove the old one, but i'm not sure how it's done... maybe someone here can explain...

no, that's not how it should look. seems like your default textures are showing through. i think that's an easy fix, happens quite often but i can't tell yu how to do it, as i'm useless in the technical stuff Tongue Wink. someone here will know how.

i've spend some time on the creator's forum last night and it looks like he only creates scenery for the philippines, sorry guys Sad. if you enjoy the scenery, you could also drop him a little thank you, i'm sure he'll appreciate it. he seems like a nice guy.  Smiley but if you are interestet in his stuff check out www.philskies.net, there's lots of other philippino airports designed by him. unfortunately they do not feature all those animations Sad

EDIT: sorry moach, didn't see your reply. didn't notice there was a second page Tongue Grin

Thanks lads....I emailed the author and he pointed to the AF2_RPVB.bgl file ...for some reason the installer had put it into the wrong folder all by itself..........sorted now and gorgeous......commoner Wink

Just search for Bacolod, and it'll come up in that list.  It's beautiful.
