how do i make animation??? and texture??? (Read 176 times)

hi
how do I make animation(landing gear, nose wheels,control serfices and the fan on a jet ) that move????
I got gmax yesterday and have made really bad planes for flightsim, then flew them.
how do I make textures???
how do I make landing lights???
When I make a plane in gmax then play it in flight sim , the plane is H U M U N G U S , how do I fix this???
Also how do I do windows???

Do i need a plug in for this or a hole new program????

Download the SDK's for FS 2004 and the Tutorial and Help Files for Gmax from Turbosquid Smiley

As a newbie myself, I can say it appears very complicated at the beginning. But if you do the tutorials, then you'll learn your way about G-max. There are some frustrating moments when you don't understand how something that SHOULD work doesn't. Take a small rest, do something else, come back with a clear head and that usually works.

But when it works, then that's serious fun! I've always heard how difficult G-max is hard to handle, and that's true to some extent, but how rewarding it is in the end!

www.freeflightdesign.com/tutorials.html has some pretty decent tutorials on how to make landing lights and stuff

it helped me a great deal when i was making my plane Wink
