Those photos where taken using a Sony p32 (no optical zoom) and my binocular in front of it
....thats why the photos have a little distortion....
What do you think about?

Sure it works...I have a Tasco Infocus model...10x50mm auto focus. But the eye protection may be removed...in my case I remove than after I put it back on its place again

Ive considered that, but I honestly didnt think it would work. those are some really good shots, and I dont see the distortion you mentioned.

Do you use any kind of mounting to keep the binocular and the camera straight in axis ? (If so, a picture of it would be welcome

No I dont use...that's why I just post here the best ones...the rest are too blurred....believe me it works great...make a try....but it will be better in a binocular that you can remove the eye protection.

It work...try yourself. The distortion that I mention is some darker in the corners...top right corner.
