FSDS V224 Problem (Read 244 times)

I have downloaded the new fsds version 224 and when I try to create mdl so that I can try my project in fs2002 I get a message "cant find file parmdict.bin" does anyone knows what it means maybe I missed something.Please help!

It's a small 4k file that should be in your install.

My suggestion, first, is to e-mail or call Abacus tech support;

Possibly redo the installation.

Q. Did you download the FULL install or just the 2.24 upgrade ???

I use to have version2.20 it was all fine i decided to update so I wrote to Abacus and they emailed me back notifying me of the web address were to download the new version . I guess it is the full version.

yes it is definatly full installation uninstalled it and reinstalled still no luck still getting the same message . I emailed abacus i was reffered to this topic, how about that?
do you know the name of the file maybe it is in the systm somewhere?

the file, like I said, is in the main FSDS folder.

I'm not at home right now, but let me see what I can dig up . It may be tonight.

parmdict.bin is the name of the file.it is suppose to be in the c/ abacus/fsds_v2 folder.Might try a search in your computer.

Hi all,
Well I searched the systm and found no file so I decided to reinstall again this time I found 2 files I did not have before 1 is called mdl_paramdict_fs2002.txt and the other mdl_paramdict_cfs2.txt they are both in the type of notepad files that you click on to open and read the contents. I tried to create mdl but still comes up with the same message"cant find parmdict.bin"
I have been in touch with abacus if anything constructive comes out of it I will be posting it into this topic in case someone else have the same problem as it can be very frustrating'
