Sorry I now this is the wrong forum but my nephew wants roads for the sim and his birthday is tonight, So which is better USA roads or FSgenisues roads, I like the Idea of roads,streams powerlines etc. but wasnt sure if the quality is as good I dont hear nearlly as much about it as usa roads.

From what I hear, they are pretty much the same. I have roads, rails etc, from FSGenesis and I love it.
Here are some shots!

A cool feature of the FSGeneisis software is that you can set the "depth" of the streams and rivers.
This package really adds allot to the sim experience and has NO impact on frame rates!

I second the opinion on the FSGenesis package.  Had it since it just came out....... I think it looks better than the "competitor".

There is a second package comeing that meshes with it that fixes the coastlines and the major bodies of water so that bridges are in the right places and no roads run across water.

As john said, this is an issue with me too but the positives far outweigh the negatives. Plus you can turn off the bridge feature so it really does not matter.
I have a few shots of what I am speaking of and I will if I can find them in the cellar!  Wink

I went ahead a bought it for him, helped him install it and Wow what a diffrence. I came home and bought it myself  Grin but dial-up and 550 megs ummm so I went back over there and made a copy of his. But I bought a copy for me though. I'd never want to fly the default agian thats for sure. Thanks.
