I feel that this could very easily be my computer game purchase of 2005. Finally Age of Empires reaches an era that interests me!

Looking forward to it. Grin

AOE ROCKS!!!  I'm still playing AOM, my younger brother is a crazy master of making cool scenarios and stuff.  In my opinion, most of the ones he makes are better than the included campaign.  It's crazy Smiley

Used to play AoE2 extensiely, but In the last few years, I lost my interest in strategy games, except Civilisation 3, because I leaves you much more time for strategic decisions.

Always loved AOE, especially Age of Myth. Havent played it much since I got FS9. I guess I really only have time for 1 game at a time.

A few months ago I reloaded AoE II and it's wierd who easy it was to beat the computer. When I first played it I never really got the hang on making more villagers than you ever think your going to need. Tongue Grin

But, Age of Empires with III has finally reached the age of Fighting Sail. And with the emphasis on military stratagy and fighting in this one I can see many oppertunities for many spectacular fights. Grin Grin Grin

You can never have to many villagers. Except when you need the food. Damn the game designers and their lack of putting cannablisim in there Roll Eyes Grin

I like the idea it wont be about just who has the most soliders. Like you said its actually tactics.

Villagers, farms and fishing boats. Thats what you needed to win. That way you get lots of food. Smiley

I usually build a couple to start with that gives the enemy something to attack other than the fishing boats. Roll Eyes
