I've not done so myself but the only way to find out would be to try it. If you you activate it via the Scenery Library it shouldn't cause any harm. The FS98 default scenery is far less complex than in FS2000 so it should be easy enough to figure out. Most of the FS98 scenery is very flat. I cant see the advantage over the excellent 3rd party scenery that extends the CFS2 world. FS2000 scenery should also work well in CFS2.
