How do I know what frequencies to tune to at ex: Logan Intl Ground? Do I look up the actaul frequencies on airnav etc..?

did you donwload the new SQ3..it is an all in one..you load it then connect send your flihgt plan, then on the right will be the names of the controllors with their freq. next to them...put that freq. in your radios  you will here a noise and ask for pushback and startup...a great program

And if you want an easy quick reference do you have Servinfo. If not download it and select vatsim and it shows you all the atc in the world and the aircraft too. Hover over the atc and it tells you the frequency.
Handy for planning ahead and getting frequencies in your standby on Com1
