I got this idea to attach other panels to my hacked keyboard panel via a D-sub type cable. I ended up leaving out the cable, and just sticking the two units together port to port. This looks rough, because it is a "prototype", but here is my brand new landing gear lever module.
On the side is a 25 pin 'male' D-sub port that is used to plug it into the main panel.
Like so:
On the back is another female D-sub so that other modules can later be plugged in with a cable.
This was done basically as a proof of concept- just to see if I could do it- and a refined, more "realistic" version will be built at some point. Anyway, Thanks for looking at my latest creation, questions and comments are very welcome.

That's a great idea... I think if and when I make some kind of panel, I'll go modular so I can figure out the best layout first. Makes it easier to repair or replace stuff, too.
