What was the exact error message? It could be a simple matter of exceeding the CFS2 aircraft limit. in which case removing a few addon aircraft should fix it. If not, try a duplicate install. Rename the CFS2 main directory folder to any other name before inserting the CD & installing in the usual way. This will give you a completely fresh install alongside the original. If the new one works you can carefully transfer your addons to it before deleting the original one.

you might be right because i just rememberd that i downloaded the fs2000 golden wings pack because ive been instaulling some of the fs2000 scenery and aircraft to it and maybee that is what screwed it up because some of the fs2000 scenery that is out there in the net works with cfs2 so i will un instuall it agen and re instuall it and i will let you know what it does

Glad you fixed it. If you know what caused it there's no need to delete all your addons. If this was caused by having too many aircraft installed you can create a Hangar subfolder in CFS2\Aircraft & temporarily remove aircraft by dragging their folders into it. Read my CFS2 FAQ page from my Lair (link in my sig) for further details.

You could also do a duplicate install & have 2 or more versions of CFS2 for different theatres etc. Rename the CFS2 main directory folder to any other name then insert the CD & install in rhe usual way. Both installs will run independently.
