I don't want to tinker with airports and such, but I want FS9 to use different planes in the existing (default) traffic patterns.  AFCAD?

Hmm...  Let me rephrase that.

Is there an easy way to add planes?  All that looks a little involved.  Plus I just want to slap the planes in, not create flight plans or anything. Embarrassed

Go here for an ai pack I use.
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004jets43.htm

The 4th one down, by Chester.  Replaces the default Boeings, in the default flightplans, with Boeing and Airbus r/w liveries. Also has support vehicles and tug for its ai a/c.

Simple install, requires a simple recompile of the default flight plans, with TTools, which is included in the d'load. Good directions in the readme (don't PANIC, just scroll down for English)  Smiley

The only fault I found is you'll have to mod the aircraft.cfg for British Airways liveries to 'atc_airline=Speed bird'.

Dave

Nuts!, guess I should check the date first.  Tongue

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

You know....you can just rip up a to-do list.
