Could be spyware, if you have Windows XP do yourself a favour and download the Microsoft antispyware app. It works and is free.

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Download this

http://www.download.com/Spyware-Doctor/3000-8022_4-10361503.html

It deletes spyware and such, it's WAY better than spybot S&D or adaware.

I see your problem was solved.

Make sure to run the anti-spyware once a week aong with your anti-virus so the problem doesn't resurface.
