but at alphasim's standard its only worth 2 quid at the most..

I would only pay 20 quid if it had a realy good VC on the model...

£10 actually Wink

Alphasim's quality is improving - at first glances the VC's not that bad, considering the shot below is resized etc in Irfanview...

Comes in 6 colour schemes too...

still wouldnt pay a tenner for it..
its worth 2 quid at the max..

Ive seen better average freeware cockpits like that..
And with the release of the Seaking which was about as good as alphasim can go..
I dont realy call that a good standard of payware..

There isnt even a texture behind the panels by the look of it...
Just one colour...
The floor is terrible by a glimpse on that screenshot..
and the rudder pedals..

I might be picky..
But its what sets apart say.. Aerosofts A-10 from Alphasims products..

hi guys, i seldom post in this forum, but i do check it out every day Grin yes Charlie is right, Alpha's quality is improoving a LOT lately, have u guys seen the mustangs, or the shooting star? just to name a few, whoa! go alpha! i would pay for that (if i had the money Roll Eyes)

Andrew, u know, not until people get into designing they grasp fully on HOW HARD it is to build a VC, no matter how basic. wether you are doing the Canberra, or a Nieuport, or w/e u want, its hard like you wouldnt believe, and its people who have no idea how things are worked out who make discouraging comments that at the end only score a designer's head. i can say this by personal experience.

i would have to see both Canberras close up to say wether one is better than the other one, but at a glance, one thing that could really fix the Freeware canberra is the glass appearance, it isjust a matter of part generating, nothing too hard to fix (i cant find the emial dfor the designer Embarrassed ive been wanting to tell him )

if anyone could IM me the email for the Free Canberra dude plz Smiley

awesome shots charlie!

don't you start getting angry mate

If you can't make one then stop whining and don't buy it. Obviously some people are willing to and that is their right.

Don't make the mods give you a slap.
