It's all rather styleized, but the clouds are really cool. Was there engine trouble? The jetwash is great until it gets to the spot where there is a bright cloud, that looks like a fireball from a flame out or something.... ???

I dont see how you see it as a fireball, but sure, anything you want, it can be, it might not be, but perhaps he had an engine failure....I dont know, its an artistic painting....
