Wot are these all about?  My freind is always telling me about them, sending me pictures etc, most of which I do not care for, but since I'm in the market for a game...

PS: But then again, she seems to be obsessed with the dang thing! Roll Eyes

It's one of the more successful series of RPG's on the market.
I personally could care less; that sort of cr@p doesn't interest me.

Booooo!!!!  (Atleast you care somewhat)

Final Fantasy is a incredibly good rpg, (not to mention long). Unfortunelty, I cant get shots for you, they only put a couple on the computer. If you haven't tried rpg's before, start off with FF, it'll leave you with a good mood for rpgs

Oh, and FF:XII should be coming out soon, I'd wait for that. I cant give me opinion on that, but FF: X was really good as well.

even if someone doesn't like rpgs, i would still recommend the ff games. back in the day when ff7 came out, i had never played a rpg before and really didn't care about that genre at all but a friend brought a copy of ff7 and i gave it a go. i was bored for the first hour or so and suddenly...bang, i was hooked Grin

imho, ff7 is still the most incredible game ever made and i have lost months of my life playing it. i have all the newer ones as well (which are all brilliant games) but still, i doubt they will ever be able to surpass ff7. even tho it's a ps1 game i still play it sometimes, the story and gameplay totally make up for the outdated graphics. i would highly recommend it to everyone, at least give it a try Smiley
