Recently I suddenly got the dreaded blue screen telling me I had a NV4_disp infinite loop problem and had to shut down.  After doing some browsing I deleted my graphics drivers, ran Driver Clean, reinstalled new drivers, rebooted and after a while got the dreaded message again.  Installed different drivers, upgraded bios ...opened the case and wiggled home the card (FX5900XT) rebooted...seems OK for the moment but don't want it to come back and bite me on the bum again.

Any suggestions out there for a better fix?

Probably the driver but it could be the loose card thingy.

I haven't had any better performance from any other driver than the one  my Leadtek 5900XT card was boxed with.......... namely NV53.06, other newer drivers have all caused probs, mostly minor ones, but some really slowed performance.
