Is this the one that happens when cars pass at certain points?

I notice it almost always at the beginning of a race before you take control of the car and sometimes for the first few seconds after you start racing and very often at the end of a race when it shows the race results, seems to happen mostly if there are words on the screen, but not every time.

One guy I work with said he read about three known glitches in the game, this being one of them and I can't remember what the others were, but I don't think I have come across them yet.

2 days, the game is ordered and depending on the mood of the company, i might even get it a day early, as that happens every now and again.

Hopefully you will enjoy it, I can only handle playing it for a short time before I feel the urge to destroy things.

Well got it today. Played a little bit, mainly just to test the Nurburgring. Graphics are definatly better, however i hate the new layout in the main mode. I thought you could transfer licenses aswell, but i guess only money. I havent seen that glitch you mentioned. Maybe just havent noticed. The driving physics are not that good though.

Edit: Now i have had time to really play this game i must say i am impressed. While it isnt anything huge ahead of GT3 i must say it has minor improvements that make all the differance. First and probably the most important is the graphics. They really are stunning on some tracks, i love the hong kong track where you come round the blind corner into that street with all the neon signs. Secondly and again rather importantly. The sensation of speed, for the first time in the series you actually feel like your doing the speed it says. I even flinched going through the narrow streets of the italian course. Was it worth the 3 and a half year wait? No i dont think theres any excuse for how long it took. But is it worth the money? Yes.

It's an okay racing game, I can't help getting very upset at how fast the AI cars become in the final stages of a race, maybe you haven't noticed it yet, it seems you can be several seconds ahead and by some miracle one or two of the computer cars will catch you in the last few turns and start ramming you until they pass, causing you to lose the race, pisses me right off.

Maybe they fixed the glitch before they released it in your region, we're just stuck with blurry screens between races.

Must have been fixed. As goes the speeding up of trailing cars. Then again i did transfer the 100,000 credits from GT3 and bought a Camaro and seriously upgraded it. Although in a stock Dodge str or whatever it is called, race round the nurburgring i did get killed. I have noticed at least in my copy if you hit the cars on the side hard enough they slow down quite a bit giving you time to pull away. I dont like the motion blur when you hit a wall though.

I retract my statement. Apparently alot of people with the older spec PS2's are not able to run it. It has something to do with the game being dual layered.

On a side note after a good few frustrating hours i finally got all the licenses. The only test i was worryed about was the final one for the special license around the nurburgring took me 1 attempt. Roll Eyes yet the test round the chamonix is that the name of the course? i just couldnt do, took me ages, then i realised i was going much faster than i needed to be, so after going round alot slower its now out the way. I dont like that you cant touch the endurance races till 25% completion. Hell completed a ton of the races and not even at 10%.
