Ever been so cold that even something you love isnt worth it? Well today i went to the airport with the intention of applying for a ramp agents position, however the job centre was closed. I took with me my 300D though. Problem was it was very windy and extremely cold, well below 0 with wind chill. I did however get a few pics of lesser quality but thought i would share anyway. going back this week, but with the weather reports being poor i dont think i am going to get this kind of perfect lighting for many months.
A quiet ramp area.

sorry about the fence, wind kept blowing it into the lense, spot the odd thing out.

I know what you've been through. My last visit to Schiphol was also in extremely cold windy conditions. But if you are a real spotter, you don't stay at home when it's too cold! Rain... that's a different issue...

I think the shots look quite sharp. That ERJ on approach isn't your best shot ever, but I think the others turned out quite well!  Wink

Yeah i know its a poor shot. I am just waiting for summer, or at least a pair of gloves:) theres a dust spot on all the shots aswell which annoys me greatly.

Thanks.
As to the odd thing out, nothing big just the speed brakes/spoilers open on the tail of the 146. You gotta feel sorry for those poor people being made to stand around for their bags, evil handlers:)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Ahh, right. On some of the aircraft at work its normal for the speed brakes to be left out on shutdown...
