S~ all,
I tryed to cahge hte texture of a plane in cfs1 by using PSP 9 (Paint Shop Pro 9) and when i had finished, i saved the file to as it was before, then i went into CFS and to my suprise, insted of teh texture i made, there was nothing on the plane!!!! ??? ??? ??? ???

Make sure you saved the color format as a 8-bit/256 color bitmap, not a 24-bit (16million) color bitmap.

What file ending would that be in PSP 9??
I can only find "Windows or OS2/2 Bitmap 9 (*.bmp)"

It's still saved as a bmp file, just that the depth of colour has to be reduced to 256 colours.
In PSP7: Colors/ decrease color depth/ 8bit (256)

I am having the same problems. I am saving it as 8-bit/256 color bitmap yet the textures are not visable when I fly. Is it a problem with PSP9?

Personally I doubt its PSP9, Arnt CFS1 aircraft like FS98 in that they use .*AF or .r8 textures? i havnt flown CFS1 in ages, so cant remember exactly.

The files need to be converted to .af format.
