Wrong - neither expired or about to be deleted but it caused me a near heart attack when I saw it yesterday .......
Apologies ..............

I could imagine how you were feeling yesterday Pete. I assumed this was nothing to do with you & had visions of you tearing our what little hair you have left.
Tried to mail you several times but it was returned as undeliverable. If you have an E-mail account separate from the site perhaps you can send it so we don't lose contact. I was tearing my hair out too.

Glad it was just an error and that SimV is back up.
I'd give em hell for all the trouble and aggravation.

Had trouble yesterday, thank god/allah (or whatever your personal beliefs are) that it was only an error
I
NEARLY
resorted to going on to the AVSIM forums
Glad to see everything's OK

It was down the whole of both saturday & sunday for me - I didn't know what to do....... (I admit I checked every hour or so to see if ol' SimV was up and running again)
Anyhoo - I thought things would go wrong as soon as I saw how many Ozzy clones there were running the place.
Glad (Very glad) you managed to sort it Pete
Thanks -

I got the expired message yesterday late in the afternoon (sunday). I'll admit, I did go into avsim's forums to see if anyone was taking about it in order to find out what could have happened. How can anyone enjoy using avsim's forum?? It is so clunky and im=user friendly. Glad it was just a host hiccup. I think they and all hosts should have to award a given amount of free bandwidth whenever they accidently out a site. What do you all think?

FYI, I checked yesterday from work, and I was able to get in...as I am today (also from work)...but if I check from home, I get an "Under Construction" message.
Any suggestions?

Since I downloaded the new MS anti spyware beta I've had no problems - it found a dodgy set of files, removed them and the problem it appears...

I've just had an email from Ozzy ........ He's taking a shotgun to his ISP since despite clearing all temp/cache/cookie files he still can't access the site.
