Well since i have little patience to upload pics to myav one at a time i thought i would put a few more up on here. This time some of the engines they have on display at Cosford.

Very nice shots Craig. Do you know what they all are? Engines were never my strongest point.

Thanks guys.
I think the the top engine is a Pratt and Whitney twin wasp.
The second is a Pratt and Whitney Wasp junior.
The third obviously Merlin
4th is the Rolls royce Trent engine that powers the 747.
and the 5th is the kestrel i think.

They have a bunch of MiG engines at Oberschleissheim museum... much more interesting
 

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Ivan these are just a few of of the collection that they have. Everything from experimental jet engines to early props. I didnt take pics of them though as i was more interested in going on the simulator next to them Roll Eyes Smiley

And the hall in which the merlin resides is guarded during the day by some school kid and an old guy with a flash light:) Should your Hendon smash and grab fail. Roll Eyes
