Guy Burgess and Donald Maclean surfaced in Moscow after a five year disappearing act! AND said they'd never been Soviet agents... I wonder how many birds could sit on their noses?
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I remember that too. Funny, I don't recall them ever denying they'd been Soviet agents.
Mind you, it was a long time ago & my memory isn't what it once was.

Were they Squirrels, Ferrets or Moles? If they were squirelling information out of people then it is possible that they are related to ou Prime Ministers wifes' paternal Grandmother. This could mean that our Prime Minister is related to a Russian Spy, er squirrell.

Don't know much about spies but I think they were moles. Don't know much about moles either although I dug one up once when I was working in my Mum's garden. Not sure who was the more surprised, the mole or me.
This opens up a whole new area of debate.
