Hello everyone.
1-Do you know why I can not login with my user name Vilic?  It says it doese not exist.
2-I can not have the little tatical map displayed.  Even by applying letter "T"  And also have no voice communications between piolets.

What is the safest way to reinstall the program without loosing all my planes, scenery, etc.....
Thanks,  Vilic

Vilik help is on the way. Yes their a way to reinstall CFS2 without losing all your previous updates. Just insert CFS2 first Disk and tell it to install.  A reinstall option should come out. Press it and a Option with Media should appear. Do not reinstall without this option. After pressing Media it will install the usual
way.

After it has finish just press play and everyhting should come up as before.

Maybe when you install it the first time you forggot to request the CFS2 command assignment. You see when you install CFS2 it gives the option of weather to have the command assignmments in the CFS1 or CFS2 format. You probably press it to have them in the CFS1 format. I now that happen to me before.

Just be carefull when this option shows up, wish option you pick.
If you have any question please come back and I will try to help you with what little knowlegde I may posses.

Another word of advice is, once you have recover the program in what you may consider a satisfactory level. Make a CFS2 Folder as backup.

Make a new folder. Name it something  else than Combat flight Simulator. That way when you insert the CFS2 Disk to the program wont get confuse. You can name it perhaps CFS2 Backup.

Copy and paste all the cotent from the original CFS2 Folder into the new Folder.

That way when you down load something. You test it and if something went wrong and you now what folder you just down loaded the upgrades into.

All you just need to do now is to delete the cotent of that corrupt folder and go to your Backuo CFS2 folder
of the same name. Copy and paste into from the Backup into the CFS2 corrupt folder and this way you wont have to be reistaling every time something goes wrong.

Another word of Advice is to do one upgrade at a time instead of multiples. This way if something goes wrong you will know where the corrupt folder is and be able to correct it. Beside this will decreases the chances of something going wrong.

I hope I have been helpful. Please come and tell us if this post was able to help you out.
