Hi. I recently installed a pci video card geforce 5200LE 256k pci (not pci express). I overwrote my intel extreme 2 integrated graphics drivers instead of removing them first and then installing the new cards drivers. First problem I had was not being able to access "my computer" in XP. I get error message shell 32 dll something or other. Now, in fs9, the waves breaking on the beach show as white solid blocks moving as if they were breaking waves, regardless of the water effects slider's position. Could anyone advise? I probably corrupted the shell32 driver, and messed up the vid card driver by overwriting. Do you concur with that scenario, and if so please advise on how to correct these issues. I have downloaded "drivercleaner", but I'm reluctant to take action as I don't want to mess things up further. Thanks in advance...

Your gonna have to use DriverCleaner.

Boot into safe mode first.  Goto 'Add Remove' programs.  Delete both the Nvidia drivers and your integrated graphics drivers.  Then use 'DriverCleaner' to get rid of any Nvidia Vid drivers and any off your integrated driver bits.

Re-boot PC.  When it says new hardware detected hit cancel.  Now go run your Nvidia driver file.

Have a look at this forum chat....it helped me solve the same problem.

In the end I had to replace texture files from my disk.

Best of luck
