About 150 miles (240 km) long and 80–90 miles (130–145 km) wide, Skagerrak narrows between Cape Skagen (the Skaw), Denmark, and the Swedish coast before turning south into the Kattegat toward the Danish sounds and the Baltic Sea.

It happens to run from American based servers but with contributors around the globe ....
& there are other areas it could be based like .... Canada .... (it was at one short stage..)
Like most international websites really ...
... This is the internet ....... where national boundaries rarely mean anything ....
