Hi all,

have just received my X52, but whilst trying to set it up it keeps sort of switching off.

Yesterday the 'stick' wouldn't do anything (although the lights were on & the 'mode' switch wouldn't change colour)

& just now the lights on the display screen on the throttle have gone off (although I haven't changed any settings)

The only way I could reset these problems was to disconnect & then reconnect the USB cable from the pc.

I was just wandering if anybody else has experienced this problem & I have just overloooked something really basic - or whether I need to maybe contact Saitek/PC World.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

TSC.

Is the USB cable seated properly in the port?

It is, but it is into a USB 5 port hub - i'll try it on a different port, failing that i'll try it another computer.

Thanks guys,

I've just set up the new pc & i've put the X52 direct into one of the usb ports on that, it now works perfectly, i've also managed to get the throttle to operate the reverse thrust aswell (0 - 15% on the throttle band).

I was also shocked to see my frame rates were averaging 70 - 80 fps with everything turned up ultra high, so at the moment i'm a very happy camper!!  Grin

Cheers,
